Howdy everyone,

Lemme tell ya, the last month or so was a lot of fun. And Le Chateau Bow Wow's busiest ever!! Lots of great sounds – and even some ugly ones – were comin' out of the doghouse in May and into June.

Work has continued for the following artists: 68 AD, THE VIVID TWISTED, JOE FISCHETTI and BOUNDALIVE. To be honest, I've fallen behind on getting the TVT mixes finished. One song is done, "Smile And Regret", and it sounds massive!! The 68 guys are back in this coming weekend to finish up what's left to be tracked, and then we mix. Joe Fischetti tracked aboot 4 more demos, and we should begin work on one or 2 of those songs in the next week or 2. BA is back in next week to complete the mixing on the 2 songs we began working on in February.

HELL DOG is finished for the time being. HD main man Joe Infantini and I did final mixes on the songs as they are currently constituted, as instrumentals, last week. He's now on the lookout for 'the' vocalist to put the icing on the cake.

MANVSWILD came in a week ago and totally kicked ass!!. The band (Joe, Ryan, Jon and Josh) came in fully prepared, tightly laying down their 8 hardcore/metal songs on Saturday the 31st (and not one song is longer than 2 minutes). The next evening we did the vocals and mix, in a 'slightly' drunken session (for them, not me) as they had just come from an afternoon pool party. They made my life real easy, though, and the mix reeks of power. You can hear one track up on the LCBW MySpace page now.

This past weekend saw the return of TOAD. Mike, Rahmi and Griff are looking to track 10-12 songs, and we started 3 on Saturday. These guys have a nice, loose rock vibe, and like to throw in the kitchen sink. On one song they added a gong, a digeridoo and a rain stick. Cool stuff.

Sunday saw the 'resurrection' of mid-'80s thrashers NECROPHILE. The band features DTA drummer Joe Moore, and this is some technical material, yet still hellaciously brutal. The band is looking to record 6 songs, and they're off to a good start as they tracked drums and bass to 3 of them yesterday.

Lastly, the mixing and mastering has now been completed for the new SKULLSHIFTER release, INNER DEMONS. The main mixes were done 4 weeks ago, and then it was 'tweek this, tweek that' time. I then headed up to WEST WEST SIDE MUSIC last Tuesday (the 3rd) to have it mastered by Alan Douches. It was a great experience attending the session as Alan and Co. made me feel most welcome. The other 'shifter dudes will weigh in on the results tonight, but I'm pretty sure it's off to the pressing plant from here.

Coming up later in June LCBW we'll see the return of OBVIATUS, and work will continue work on most (if not all) of the artists mentioned above. Other artists are in the offing as well. Questions?? Comments?? Just drop me an e-mail at info@lcbw.com or call (908) 490-1444.

Cheers,
